House of Payne's Doc Shaw Stars in Disney's "PAIR OF KINGS"
September 17, 2010
If it wasn't enough that this young star had no formal acting training and became one of the faces of Tyler Perry's television sitcom House of Payne, then your sentiments are correct, there's more to this overnight success story. Seventeen year old Larramie “Doc” Shaw along with Hanna Montana's Mitchel Musso will be starring in their very own Disney television series Pair of Kings.
The story follows fraternal twins (one white and one black), who lives in Chicago and learns that they are heirs to the throne of an island nation and must return back there to rule the inhabitants. Doc Shaw promises that adventure and magical creatures will make viewers want to watch week after week.
Friday, September 10, 2010, Doc invited friends, family and the media to a private viewing of the special one hour television premiere of the show at Chris “Ludacris” Bridges restaurant Strait’s in Midtown Atlanta. At the viewing, he shared with the crowd the vision for him and his mother’s foundation Fresh Dreams and its goal to help single mothers and children. As a recent high school graduated, Doc wants to encourage young people to focus on education first then sports and other extracurricular activities.
